Special Forces: The Introduction
It's been a long time since Special Forces was first announced to be relesed; however, the wait is all over, 'cause June 27th, 2000, was the relese for this mythologic MK game saga, this time, featuring the popular agent Jax, who counts with multiple classic special moves that will help you in the quest, besides the addition of weapons, like granade lancher between among others. As for bosses, you will face Kabal (from MK3), and also Goro will make a special debut on the game, but thats not all, many are the anemies you'll face!
Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, is an only PlayStation relesed MK game, Jax is the only character you will play as, there are around eight (8) levels to browse. The game is a 3th person view, based on a 3D engine, gameplay is basicly the classical gameplay we know on MK. The price is pretty low, only $19.95, so, I don't see a reazon why you won't own this game.
Since the time when Tobias and team were dealing with the game original concept, the new developers took the time to make some changes on it, as for example, the very notable lack of Sonya, character that was first said to be teaming with Jax on this quest. Also the storylines were, of course, drastically changed, but not just this, also "violations" to MK's original storylines are found in here; how is it possible that if the game takes part before the first MK game Jax has cyber-arms? He had those arms only 'till MK3, this, among a few other things.
If you are a Mythologies' sagas lover, or someone like an MK collector, or you are looking for having a litter time to beat a game, then, I recommend you to own this game; might not be the one for casual gamers, but you, MK Lovers, wouldn't forget your selves to miss this one!
