I was just checking for the latest results at this week
question poll for the site, most of you are answering
that won't buy the game, others say will play as Jax only
'cause it is MK and that's it. The results are totally
trusty, because it has a double-vote blocking activated,
no one can vote twice, so, you've got it. However, go
directly to the Message Board and post your detailed
fillings on the game there, I've got a discuss opened
about it.

N64 version of Special Forces

I've got on my hands the confirmation of MKSF not to be
relised on Nintendo64 game console; as it seems the
action-adventure based MK game will only make it debut at
Sony's PlayStation, with a very low price of just $19.95
(as said before), is slated to be out on next June 27th
2000, featuring Jax as only playable character; in
addition, Goro will make appeariance as boss together
with Jarek and other known character. The whole story
line its not the same since past year, its also said that
the storyline of MK is broken in here, so, MK5 will not
be the only.
Thanks to my friend Scott Howel, from MK5.ORG, for
letting me know about the non N64 relese.

having it up since one week ago. But its ok, 'cause now

Special Forces PSX price

On a Midway advertisement at GamePro Magazine's new
issue, the price for MK Special on the Playstation game
console, its being shown, and guess what? It is just $
19.95! Its a really low price, this more than for selling
lot of copies is more kind of, not much on the game,
anyway, who knows? As for the N64 version (or any other
console) it seems the game wont make it after all, that
against all that has been told on others game list. The
game will be out this June 2000.
However, I recieved a
reply e-mail from Jeff Greeson (president of TRMK), where
he says me that he's been talking to Midway development
team of MKSF and the've set clear to him that the game is
not coming for other than Playstation. As for new
adventure MK games the answer is "yes". Midway
plans to relese more Mythologies games in the future.

At TRMK are reports of something they just know, and it
is that Midway's arcade team cannot work on two projects
at the same time, wich is very viable, that is something
that makes them, and me, think that MK5 is not even on
early development, it could be kind of "early
thinkings!". So, maybe till Boon and his team does
not finish The Grid: "Thats What You Get!"
game, MK5 might not be worked till it... But that is just
a guess.
As for The Grid tittle
(Thats What you Get!), that is something that makes you
clear that things happening around Ed Boon's site, those
weird stuff, are not more than The Grid, and not MK5 as
we all thought.

This is E3 second day show, almost finishing, and I've
got a few Special Forces screens to show you, this are
from TRMK's coverage of the game, they're reporting
directly from Midway's floor at E3.

As you know;
the game is kind of Mytholies sequel, its a first person
view, as for Jax, that it is the only one shown since the
time when Tobias were the one leading the game, not Sonya
screens... Well, Jax will use clasical special movements
as well as the addition of weapons like Granade
Launchers... hmmmm... Sounds good. If want some more news
on the development of the game at E3; go to TRMK and know
about it.

Special Forces: on hold for summer 2000!

| Reports on over
MortalKombat.com website are saying that
Mythologies sequel, Special Forces, will be aired
this summer 2000. The game will make it on the
home consoles like Playstation and Nintendo 64;
about this last was mentioned on older news that
it was dropped by Nintendo the Special Forces
game, but this makes sure that it is not that
way. Since Tobias left from Midway and so his job
at this game, it might contain a lot of changes
since the last time we heard. |

game will also make a preview debut at this
year's E3 Show, on LA Convention Center, E3 will
be at this month's day 11 to 13 2000. All shown
there will be at this site, so, do not miss up of
any update from now on!
